1 . Factory introduction

Parallel co-rotating twin screw extruder have excellent mixing performance, good self cleaning performance and flexible modular configuration characteristics which make them suitable for processing different types of material systems, and are extensively used in fields of polymer processing, foodstuff processing and chemical products, especially for various high molecular materials.
In most cases, parallel co-rotating twin screw extruder are used as mixing euqipment. In processing high molecular materials,the modification process and master batch preparation of polyolefin materials and engineering plastics requires sufficient and intensive mixing, which differs depending on material systems, excellent equipment performance, reasonable mixing process,advanced combination technique and rich processing experience are the key factors determining the success and efficiency of mixing.
2 . D2 material
Cold work die steel D2 is a high-carbon and high-chromium cold work die steel widely used in the world. It is a ledeburite steel with high hardenability, hardenability and high wear resistance; Good corrosion resistance after polishing and small heat treatment deformation.

3 . The advantages of using the D2 material to make extruder screw elements
a . Wear resistance: D2 material is a high carbon high chromium tool steel with excellent wear resistance. During extruder operation, threaded elements frequently contact and rub against plastic material, so good wear resistance is required to prolong service life. The high hardness and wear resistance of the D2 grade make it an excellent choice.
b . Corrosion resistance: D2 material also has good corrosion resistance, which can resist chemical corrosion caused by contact with plastic materials. This is very important for the long-term stability and reliability of the extruder screw elements.
c . High strength: D2 material has high strength and toughness, and can withstand the stress under high pressure and high temperature conditions in the operation of the extruder. This helps reduce deformation and breakage of threaded elements and improves production efficiency and product quality.
d . Processing performance: D2 material is easy to process and manufacture, and the required hardness and performance can be obtained through heat treatment. This makes it possible to manufacture custom-made extruder thread elements with complex thread structures.
