2mm/3mm Electronic Devices Straight Wire Invar 36 Bar Price
This is one of the controlled expansion alloys. It has an expansion rate roughly 10% that of standard carbon steels. Also known as Invar 36
or Alloy 32-6,but this alloy is extremely rare and is generally only produced by the mill in the heat lot quantities.
Note:Recent testing has determined that increased hardness will decrease CTE in all temperature rangs in Invar alloys.
Invar 36 is suitable for the applications who require low coefficient of expansion, such as production, storage and transportation of liquid gas, temperature regulation devices working below 200°C, aperture mask, unit frameworks working below -200°C and so on.

Applications
This alloy has been used fro applicaitons where dimensional changes due to temperature variation must be
minimized such as in radio and electronic devices, aircraft controls, optical and laser system, etc.
Invar 36 alloy has been used in conjunction with high expansion alloys in applicaitons where a motion is desired
when the temperature changes, such as in bimetallic themromostats and in rod and tubes assemblies for temperature
regulators.
Annealing for stress relief
Heated to 530~550℃ and hold 1~2 h Cold down
Anmealing
In order to eliminate hardening ,which can be bring out in cold-rolled ,cold drawing process,Annealing needs heated
to 830~880℃ in vacuum,hold 30min.
The stabilization process
In protective media and heated to 830℃,and hold 20mins ~1h,quench
Due to the stress generated by quenching, heated to 315℃,hold 1~4h.
Precautions
Can not be hardened by heat treatment
Surface treratment can be sandblasting, polishing or pickling
Alloy can be used for 25% hydrochloric acid pickling solution at 70℃ to clear oxidized surface
